Young Harris, Courtney Moore place second at North Georgia
DAHLONEGA, Ga. – The Young Harris College women's golf team finished in second place at the North Georgia Spring Invitational Tuesday (March 13) afternoon.
Young Harris shot 361 on the par 72, 5,813-yard layout at the Achasta by Reynolds course to finish the 36-hole event at 714. Tournament host North Georgia College & State University won the three-team field with a score of 640.
Courtney Moore finished in second place at 158 after a 75 in the final round. Kelsey McEntyre shot an 85 to finish in sixth at 173 while Carol Raterman shot a 100 and finished in eighth place at 190 while Katie Bludworth had a 101 and came in 12th with a score of 208.
North Georgia's Catalina Olarte earned medalist honors with a score of 151 after a 75 in the final round.
The Mountain Lions return to action Saturday (March 17) when they compete at the UWG Invitational in Carrolton, Ga.
