Mountain Lions hold 100-inning game

YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. - The Young Harris College softball team completed their fall 2011 100-inning game Wednesday (Oct. 26) at E.D. Rivers Field.

The teams - White and Purple - were divided up among the 25 players with the White team defeating the Purple team by a score of 62-56.

The White team was led by seniors Suzannah Eubanks and Emily Watson. The due drove in a combined 41 runs. The Purple team was led by senior Brittany Allen and junior Callie Holloway. The twosome combined to drive in 30 runs.

The Mountain Lions open their 2012 schedule Feb. 12 with a 2 p.m. doubleheader against Georgia Southwestern State University in Americus, Ga.
