AMERICUS, Ga. – The Young Harris College men’s cross country team finished in fourth place Saturday (Sept. 10) morning at the second annual GSW Remembrance Run.

Young Harris finished with 99 points while Columbus State University won the five-team 8K run with 25 points.

Alex Bitok led YHC with an 11th-place finish with a time of 27:59.0 while Trent Jones and Harrison Myers also notched top-20 efforts. Jones finished in 19th place with a time of 28:35.1 while Harrison was next with a time of 28:37.4. Cory Harrison finished in 26th place with a time of 29:22.1 followed by Stephen Kuni (28th, 29:27.1), Reese Walker (29th, 29:37.3), Tyler Gunnin (30th, 29:59.1), Tim Montgomery (33rd, 30:24.6), Charles Too (37th, 31:05.1), Terry Miller (39th, 31:27.6) and Trevor Rich (40th, 31:55.1).

The Mountain Lions return to action Saturday (Sept. 17) when they travel to Macon, Ga., for the Mercer RunFit Invitational at 9 a.m.
