ROME, Ga. – The Young Harris College men’s cross country team concluded its season Saturday by taking fourth at the Berry College Viking Cross Country Open.

The Mountain Lions garnered 100 points in the 8K race to take fourth, while the Atlanta Track Club won the meet with 34 points. Berry College was second with 35 points and Birmingham Southern College took third with 65 points.

Brandon Banks was the first YHC runner to finish, taking 18^th in 29:15. Tim Montgomery was 21^st in 29:38. Levi Gentle and Trent Jones were 27^th and 28^th, respectively in 30:21 and 30:29. Will Clements took 31^st in 31:01 and Chase Alford and Tyler Gunnin finished 34^th and 35^th in 31:39 and 34:16.

Robert Willett of Birmingham Southern won the meet in 26:22.
