Pacers defeat Mountain Lions 8-1

AIKEN, S.C. – University of South Carolina Aiken defeated Young Harris College 8-1 in a non-conference men's tennis match Saturday (Feb. 4) morning at the USC Aiken Tennis Complex.

The Pacers, who are ranked No. 10 regionally, improved to 1-0 while the Mountain Lions fell to 2-3. Young Harris returns to competition Tuesday (Feb. 7) when they travel to Clinton, S.C., for a 1 p.m. match against Presbyterian College.

Tom Gibaud picked up the lone victory for the Mountain Lions as he defeated Tyler Inglis at No. 3 singles with a 5-7, 6-4, 10-4 decision.
