Zach Vick to play for the Mountain Lions next season

YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. – Young Harris College men's golf coach Brett Beazley has announced that Zach Vick has signed a grant-in-aid to play for the Mountain Lions this fall.

Vick, who is from Lindale, Ga., has played golf at The Darlington School for four seasons for head coach Raymond Murray. Vick finished tied for second place at the Region 6-A this season and was among the top 10 in the 2011 event as the Tigers won the region tournament.

"We are very excited about Zach Vick's decision to become a Mountain Lion," said Beazley. "He has a great chance to make an immediate impact his freshman year. He has a solid game and a very good short game. We are proud to welcome him to our YHC family."

Young Harris, which is in candidacy year one of the NCAA Division II process, will become members of the Peach Belt Conference July 1.
