YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. - The Young Harris College baseball team is set to start fall practice Tuesday (Sept. 12), head coach Rick Robinson announced this morning.

Per NCAA Division II rules, the team will have 24 team practices this fall to prepare for the 2011-2012 season.

The Mountain Lions are returning 21 players from the 2011 season where they posted a 28-22 record. The roster will return one senior, two juniors, 18 sophomores, while adding 12 freshmen to the mix.

This season will be the second season the Mountain Lions will be competing as a four-year institution, and has officially begun year one in the NCAA Division II membership process. Returning to the helm for the Mountain Lions will be Robinson, who is entering his 14th season with Young Harris.
