Malcolm Jackson - Men's Basketball

YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. – Men’s basketball player Malcolm Jackson has been named the Young Harris College Mountain Lion Athlete of the Week ending January 29.

Jackson, a 6-foot-0 junior guard from Atlanta, helped the Mountain Lions to a split in their two games last week. Jackson averaged 25.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 3.0 assists as he shot 51.6 percent (16-of-31) from the floor. Jackson scored 21 points and grabbed nine rebounds in an 89-74 loss at Lander University Jan. 23. He also scored 29 points in a 93-86 victory over Tennessee Temple University Jan. 26.

The Mountain Lions (14-3) return tonight (Jan. 30) when they host Brevard College in a 7 p.m. contest at the YHC Basketball Arena.
